See you in August!

Every day is a learning day!  Whether you are in school or at home or on an adventurous vacation, every moment is an opportunity to learn something new.  Take time each day this summer to read and write.  Seek out new experiences and challenge your brain with new things.  

At Rosemary we are very excited about the 2018-19 school year.   Working together we are making Rosemary the safest, most engaging, and most challenging learning place for every one of our students.  

As a school in the EL Education network of schools (https://eleducation.org/) , our definition of student achievement combines academic achievement, character, and high quality work.  This year we will be rolling out our new Habits of Character.  Students will be learning about and practicing Compassion, Integrity, Reflection, Courage, Leadership, and Excellence.  Expect to hear a lot about these habits in the year to come.  

The school office is closed for the summer, but will open on August 1.  

Kindergarten students will recieve a special invitation to come to the school on August 13 for a brief assessment appointment.  

The first day of school this year is Wednesday, August 22.  Please join the principal for an informal informational meeting with all parents at 8:15 a.m. on that day.  It will be a great opportunity to learn about our key initiatives for the school year.  

Have a great summer!  We look forward to seeing everyone back in August ready to learn and grow and become our best selves.
