About Rosemary
Rosemary School serves over 550 students from Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade. Our dedicated staff provides a nurturing school environment and rigorous, engaging instruction that prepares students for success in the 21st-century workplace. We focus on innovative instruction founded in equity and access for all students. Our innovative programs have earned us the 2014 California Distinguished School award and have established our school as an educational and cultural hub of our community. Rosemary’s award-winning “Rocket Time” has led to tremendous gains in student achievement and made our school a model for others.
We are proud to work with the Campbell Care After-School program to provide after-school enrichment activities, exercise, and homework time five days a week until 6 p.m. In addition, we partner with Playworks to bring healthy, organized play, and conflict management to our campus every school day. Rhythm and Moves provides engaging and rigorous Physical Education classes to every student every week. The BAWSI program is an opportunity for 65 girls in grades 2-4 to experience the joy of exercise under the mentorship of university athletes from our area.
At Rosemary, we have one Chromebook for every child in 2nd -5th grade and teachers integrate the use of technology throughout the day. Every student at Rosemary has a Google account and many classrooms take advantage of the Google Classroom environment.
Everything about our school climate is designed to support the development of healthy and happy students. We are fully committed to the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system that emphasizes giving students a clear understanding of what is expected of them and acknowledging appropriate and model behaviors consistently.
