Positive Discipline Classes: This class focuses on strengthening families positive communication, helps parents better understand their child's behavior and provides different positive strategies they can implement to support their child's positive social emotional development. It utilizes a lot of experiential interactive activities so that it focuses on the heart before the head.The morning and evening classes allow couples to attend. Often mom attends in the morning , dad at night.  They can then discuss the class together.There is free childcare.
The Morning Launch September 15, 2015 - 7:35pm

The morning launch is an important part of the Rosemary School Day.  Every child is expected to be at the launch that begins at 8:00 a.m.  At the launch students line up with their classes and participate in an interactive routine.  The launch starts with the Pledge of Allegience and the 3 B's Chant.  After the chant we participate in a short exercise.  These days we will be doing crossovers in which students touch their right knee with their left elbow, then their left knee with their right elbow.  After the exercises Mr. Schmaedick shares a message with the whole school.

Efforts to Reduce Tardies October 8, 2015 - 10:40am

We are working hard to reduce the number of tardy students each day.  

New Immunization Law Starts January 1st October 20, 2015 - 8:11am

Starting January 2016, new incoming students or those students transitioning from elementary to middle school will no longer be able to provide a personal belief statement or religious exemption for immunizations.

Under the 2015 Senate Bill 277, there is provision for “grandfathering” students who currently have a statement of belief or religious exemption until they reach their next vaccination checkpoint – kindergarten or 7th grade.  A licensed physician can exempt students from immunizations.
