BAWSI Girls

Female athletes serve as volunteer coaches leading fun and motiving physical fitness activities, in a team setting, which creates a lifelong passion for exercise. BAWSI Girls consists of 2nd through 4th grade girls. The assigned teams will be meeting every Wednesday from September 16th through November 4th from 1:40 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. 

BAWSI was founded by Olympic and World Cup soccer stars Brandi Chanstain and Julie Foudy and Marlene Bjornsrud, former general manager of the San Jose CyberRays. BAWSI awakens the power of female athletes as change makers in the world and creates initiatives through which female athletes bring health, hope and wholeness to our community.
