Rosemary Elementary School

Happy New Year!

Greetings from Rosemary School!  We hope you have had an active and enjoyable summer filled with many opportunities to learn and grow. In the 2017-18 school year Rosemary will be joining a national network of schools called EL EducationEL Education is a 25 year-old organization that grew out of a partnership between Outward Bound USA and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  EL Education schools are bound together by an expanded understanding of student achievement that prioritizes not only mastery of grade-level skills and knowledge, but that puts equal importance on the development each student's character - challenging every child to develop into model citizens in our community. We are very excited about what this powerful model for great schools will bring Rosemary students.

In the second week of August you will receive an important packet of information from the school.  Please read it all very carefully.  Of particular importance is the yellow Emergency Contact Form.  We MUST have this form on file for every student so that our office staff can contact parents.

Take note of our attached uniform policy:  Navy blue and white shirts with khaki or navy blue pants - no jeans.

School begins promptly at 8:05.  Breakfast is available beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Students who do not eat breakfast are welcome at 7:45 a.m.

We will NOT post class lists.  Class assignments will be available in the office according to this schedule.  BRING THE COMPLETED  YELLOW PARENT/STUDENT INFORMATION CARD AT YOUR APPOINTED TIME.
