New Central Kitchen for CUSD

Campbell School District staff had the chance to attend the open house for the new district central kitchen last week.  It is a very impressive facility that will completely transform the quality of meals we serve at our schools.  I look forward to the 

meal program becoming a point of pride for the district rather than the area of concern that it has been traditionally in many schools.  After sampling some of the menu items, I expect that the school meals will become a legitimate option for staff as well as students.  The new kitchen will begin production some time in January.
