Rosemary Elementary School

New Principal for 2019-20 Announced

Message from the Superintendent

Dear Rosemary Elementary School Families,

Educating students to their highest potential is job one for all of us in Campbell Union School District. As we work toward successfully completing this school year, we are looking ahead at how to provide the best support to students in the year that begins in August.

I hope you will join me and Mr. Schmaedick in welcoming Rosemary’s next Principal, Mr. Ronald “Hugo” Galvan. As Rosemary School’s new instructional leader, Mr. Galvan is committed to ensuring all students learn at their highest level through the EL Education process.

Mr. Galvan comes to us with 17 years of experience in education. He most recently has been a middle school principal in Hollister, and before that was an elementary principal in North Monterey County Unified School District.

Families will have an opportunity to meet him before the end of the school year.

Mr. Galvan is committed to continuing the great programs and experiences for Rosemary students, staff and families. We believe his leadership will nurture Rosemary School’s work in preparing our future graduates for the challenges of a yet-to-be-defined future.

Sincerely,

Shelly Viramontez, Ed.D., Superintendent
