Students Learn to Lead Their Learning

Our students were hard at work preparing for their Student Led Conferences (SLCs) earlier this month.

Student Led Conferences are meetings where students share their learning with their parents directly. In order to do this, students must have a strong understanding of what they are learning, and how they are currently doing in different areas.

At Rosemary School, we have students lead their conferences, because we want to empower our students to advocate for their own learning. When students know what they’ve learned and what their goals are, they can better explain what supports they would like.

We believe that our students’ voices are important!
